Brad Abicht

Dr. Abicht is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon practicing for over a decade at Gundersen Health System (GHS) in La Crosse, WI. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and currently serves as department chair for the Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Department at Gundersen Health System. Dr. Abicht is actively involved in medical education, medical leadership, as well as research with regular publications in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks. Additionally, he serves on the editorial board for multiple journals. Dr. Abicht is a leading surgeon innovator within the foot and ankle space, with particular interests in percutaneous and MIS techniques as well as emerging technologies that advance patient care. He regularly lectures nationally and internationally on related foot and ankle topics. Outside of work, he enjoys spending as much time as he can with his wife and two sons.

Jeff Dikis

Jeffrey Dikis, DPM currently practices as a partner with McFarland Clinic, Iowa’s largest physician-owned multispecialty clinic. After residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, he worked at an orthopedic group in Tennessee before moving home to Iowa. He is certified in foot surgery and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He serves as clinical faculty with the Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Dikis has extensive training in Arthroscopy, Trauma, Sports Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, and has taught and lectured at national educational conferences and courses.

He is the host and creator of the popular Pod Patrol podcast, an entertainment and educational podcast, covering topics of the foot and ankle with both podiatric and orthopedic colleagues. He is one-half of the instagram tandem FootDocDuo, producing educational content. He has authored research papers in both The Foot and Foot & Ankle International.

He is married to his wife, Ashley, also a podiatric surgeon, and has two young boys. He enjoys music and plays the piano and drums. He is an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan and enjoys coaching his kids’ soccer and basketball teams.

Corine Creech

DPM

Dr. Corine Creech is a board-certified podiatric surgeon at Inova. She specializes in surgical intervention of the foot and ankle, with a wide range of interests including correction of bunions and hammertoes, tendon disorder repair, complex deformity correction, limb salvage, trauma care, arthritis prevention and repair, and total ankle replacement.
Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Creech completed her podiatric medical education at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. She completed her residency training at Temple University Hospital, a large, inner-city Level 1 Trauma Center, where she underwent extensive training in foot and ankle surgery and reconstruction.
Dr. Creech is a national and international lecturer on minimally invasive surgical solutions for bunions and hammertoes, Achilles damage and trauma, fractures, and arthritis. She has authored numerous textbook chapters and articles in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Creech is passionate about education and research. She is a peer reviewer for the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the Journal of the American Podiatric Medicine Association. She serves on Inova Fairfax Medical Campus’s foot and ankle surgery residency training committee and as the program’s research director.
Having gone through several lower extremity surgeries herself, as well as competing as a Division I college athlete, Dr. Creech offers a unique and compassionate approach to patient care and recovery. She is passionate about patient care and communication.
Dr. Creech is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, where she also played varsity soccer for four years.

Kelsey J. Millonig

Dr. Kelsey Millonig is a fellowship trained foot and ankle surgeon and is elated to serve the people of her home state, Iowa. She is passionate about improving patient outcomes in foot and ankle surgery with innovative techniques, research, and leadership. Dr. Millonig offers expertise in minimally invasive surgery (bunions, hammertoes, flatfoot), limb deformity correction and lengthening(clubfoot, congenital defects, brachymetatarsia, or traumatic deformity), orthoplastic reconstruction (soft tissue injury), nerve injury, charcot neuroarthropathy, arthritis, total ankle replacement, and traumatic injuries. With her extensive athletic background she also enjoys treating athletes with sports injuries allowing them resume competitive activity.

Doug Pacaccio

Dr. Douglas Pacaccio is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon with advanced training in lower extremity reconstruction and diabetic limb salvage. A graduate of the University of Illinois with degrees in Biology and Philosophy (Ethics), he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Rosalind Franklin University with Magna Cum Laude honors. He completed residency at INOVA Fairfax Hospital and a Plastic Surgery Fellowship at Georgetown University Medical Center. Dr. Pacaccio specializes in custom 3D-printed implants, total ankle replacement, Charcot reconstruction, orthopedic traumatology, and regenerative medicine. He is passionate about patient-centered care, clear communication, and achieving outcomes that align with each patient’s goals. He is a founding member and former board director of MedShape, Inc., holds multiple orthopedic device patents, and has held leadership roles within the Illinois Medical Association and hospital committees.

Raquel Sugino

Dr. Sugino is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon specializing in comprehensive reconstruction of the foot and ankle. She is board certified in foot and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS).
Dr. Sugino advanced her surgical and clinical training by completing an additional year of fellowship at the Newport Advanced Foot & Ankle Fellowship in Newport Beach, CA. Her training focused on reconstructive forefoot, hindfoot and ankle surgery, including complex Charcot reconstructions utilizing Ilizarov external fixators, limb deformity correction, lower extremity trauma, sports medicine, total ankle replacement, and plastics procedures including advanced muscle, adipofascial and skin flaps for limb salvage.
Prior to fellowship, Dr. Sugino completed a three-year podiatric surgical residency at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago, IL where she trained at the prestigious Weil Foot & Ankle Institute. Simultaneously, she completed a Dermatopathology Fellowship that specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of numerous skin and soft tissue disorders including skin cancer with Bako Pathology in Alpharetta, GA. She received her medical education from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Sugino grew up in Wailuku, HI and received her B.S. in Biology, Minor in Music, and M.S. in Molecular Biology Infectious Disease from University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA.

Narenda Patel

David Schweibish

Dr. David Schweibish a.k.a “Dr. Dave” was born in Chicago, Illinois and relocated to Florida shortly thereafter. He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Florida and a master’s of business administration at Stetson University, and then pursued his medical degree at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, Illinois. This was followed by an intensive three-year residency in foot and ankle surgery at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Jeffrey D. Lehrman

Dr. Lehrman is in private practice just outside Philadelphia and is the Medical Director at the Crozer Wound Healing Center. Zeeshan Husain

Zeeshan Husain, DPM, is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon at Great Lakes Foot and Ankle Institute located in Rochester, Chesterfield, Clinton Township, Fort Gratiot, East China Township, and Shelby Township, Michigan. Tom Chang

Julio Ortiz

Born in Havana, Cuba, he immigrated to Florida at the age of two with his family and grew up in Hialeah. His passion for sports medicine was sparked during his time at Miami Springs Senior High School after sustaining a knee injury. Choosing to forgo athletic scholarships for college wrestling, Dr. Ortiz pursued his calling in medicine, enrolling at Barry University—one of only two institutions at the time with a accredited Sports Medicine program.

Dr. Ortiz earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training with a minor in Biology. His growing interest in podiatric medicine led him to continue his studies at Barry University, where he graduated in the top 10% of his podiatry school class. During his final year, he served as a tutor and mentor, demonstrating his commitment to education and leadership.

His training included externship rotations at prestigious institutions such as Cambridge Health Alliance of Harvard University and Ft. Andrew Lundquist

Haywan Chiu

Haywan Chiu, DPM, is a podiatric surgeon at Albuquerque Associated Podiatrists in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He specializes in diabetic limb salvage.

Dr. Chiu's medical education has taken him from coast to coast in the United States. He completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of California, Santa Cruz, in 2007, before moving east for medical school, graduating from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 2013. His residency took him back to the west coast and the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) Palo Alto Podiatry Residency Program and Stanford University.

Alton Johnson

Alton R. Johnson Jr., DPM is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery-Foot and Ankle. Founder and CEO of AJ Educational Empowerment. Dr. Johnson received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Barry University. During his time as an undergraduate at Barry U., Dr. Johnson completed a summer basic science research internship at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and a clinical epidemiology research internship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. In 2012, he attended the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. In addition, as a podiatric medical student Dr. Johnson presented several research posters focused on geriatric fall secondary to foot deformities. In 2016, Dr. Johnson went on to complete a three-year Podiatric Medicine & Surgery Residency at AHMC in Aventura, FL. Dr. Johnson was part of AHMC’s back to back to back ResEd Summit Midwest Residency Rumble 1st Place championship teams. Dr. Johnson has also managed to present multiple research projects at The Future of Regenerative Medicine Congress, ResEd Summit Midwest Conferences, SAWC and the ACFAS Conference. During his chief year of residency, Dr. Johnson was able to publish several peer-reviewed journal articles and participate in an international medical mission in Haiti. In 2019, Dr. Johnson was awarded the American Podiatric Medicine Association and Symposium of Advanced Wound Care Podiatrist Wound Care Scholarship at the SAWC Fall 2019 conference in Las Vegas, NV. In 2020, Dr. Johnson was bestowed the American Board of Wound Management Foundation Scholarship and selected as the only podiatric clinical investigator in the nation for the 2020 National Institutes of Health/National Medical Association Academic Medicine Fellows Program. In 2021, Dr. Johnson completed a two-year ACFAS Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Clinical Research Fellowship and two-year Clinical Research Post-Doctoral Clinical Research Certification at the University Pennsylvania-Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. His research emphasis has been focused on gerontology, tropical and international medicine, regenerative medicine, wound care, diabetic limb preservation techniques, rare dermatological and bone pathologies, biomedical technology, and advanced durable medical equipment technology.

Warren S. Joseph

DPM, FIDSA

Dr. Warren S. Joseph is a specialist in the treatment of lower extremity infectious
diseases. He received his podiatric degree from the Wm. Scholl College of
Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. Dr Joseph completed his postgraduate training in
podiatric medicine/surgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital, and a fellowship in infectious
diseases at Hahnemann University School of Medicine, both in Philadelphia. He
is currently an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the Arizona College of Podiatric
Medicine at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ.

Dr Joseph is a fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and is an
author on the IDSA Diabetic Foot Infection Guidelines. He is also certified by the
American Board of Podiatric Medicine, and currently serves as Editor of the
Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr Joseph lectures
extensively and his presentations have focused on the treatment of bacterial and
fungal infections of the lower extremity. He has authored close to 100
publications in the field of lower extremity infections.

Tim Miller

Dr. Timothy Miller is a triple board certified dedicated podiatric physician who brings a calm, attentive presence to every appointment. With years of experience treating a wide range of foot and ankle conditions—from heel pain and ingrown toenails to diabetic foot care—Dr. Miller is known for making patients feel heard, respected, and cared for. His clinical interests include biomechanics, orthotic therapy, and preventative care. Dr. Miller takes a conservative-first approach and believes in educating his patients on the “why” behind their symptoms so they feel confident about their recovery. Outside of clinic hours, Dr. Miller enjoys golf, cooking, and staying active in the Central Florida community. Patients appreciate his approachable style, thoroughness, and unwavering commitment to getting them back on their feet.

William Scherer

DPM, MS, DABFAS

Dr. William Scherer is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine. He has maintained a private practice in South Florida since 1991, and has served 17 years as an Adjunct Professor at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Scherer has published several peer reviewed articles on onychomycosis, of which three were honored with an APMA William J. Stickel Award for outstanding research in Podiatric Medicine. He completed a PSR-24 residence in California, and since has been an innovator with medical and educational computer technology, created the Keystone Board Examination Software for Podiatric Surgery and Podiatric Medicine that has been used by thousands of physicians to prepare for their board examinations and has created dozens of computerized educational software learning programs used by thousands of K-12 public schools in Florida and California.

Sarah Haller

DPM

Dr. Sarah Haller is a board-certified in both foot and ankle surgery with the ABFAS. In addition, she has a certification in medicine with ABPM. She trained at Hoboken University Medical Center in the comprehensive foot and ankle reconstructive surgical residency.

Leland Jaffe

DPM, FACFAS, CWSP

Dr. Jaffe earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 2008 and then began his surgical and clinical training at the North Chicago VA Medical Center and St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago, IL. During Dr. Jaffe’s residency, he served as chief resident during his three years of residency training and published original articles in peer reviewed journals. Following his completion of residency, he began practicing in a group practice in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Jaffe continued his academic involvement as a surgical instructor through the DePaul Health Center residency program. In addition to his busy surgical practice, Dr. Jaffe served on the panel at two different multi-disciplinary wound centers in St. Louis.

Trent Brookshier

Trent Brookshier, DPM, is an experienced podiatrist serving patients at North Park Podiatry in San Diego, California. Dr. Brookshier grew up in El Cajon, California, and attended Christian High School, where he met his high school sweetheart, Annalisa. After graduating, he completed his bachelor's degree at The University of California, Irvine (ZOT! ZOT!), living in the honors dorms (called the Shire of Middle Earth for fellow “Lord of the Rings” fans). Upon graduation, Dr. Brookshier worked at the University of California San Diego Hospital as a lab technician on the organ procurement team. He then attended the Western University of Health Sciences in Ponoma, California, and completed his three-year surgical residency at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego. He completed further trauma and reconstructive training at Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center in Fontana, California. Dr. Brookshier completed externships nationwide at several hospitals, such as Harvard's teaching facility in Cambridge, Massachusets, Swedish Seattle in Washington, and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. During his residency, Dr. Brookshier completed over 1,500 surgical procedures.Dr. Brookshier is passionate about progressing the field of podiatric medicine and helping to improve diabetic care. He has presented novel studies nationwide and most recently spoke in Hong Kong and South Korea, sharing his results at the International Diabetes Federation.Dr. Brookshier and his wife have been married for ten years and have three sons: Bryer, Desmond, and Calvin. Outside work, he enjoys playing sports, hiking, dancing, running, beach days, and watching “Survivor.”
